The implementation of the Global Periodontal Health Project was set in motion this year to prioritize periodontal health at a national level through health promotion and disease prevention, and to integrate oral and periodontal health into policies addressing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).This year’sWorld Oral Health Forum (WOHF) during theWorld Dental Congress in Madrid will take an in-depth look into the issue.
